Fujairah, UAE, Sep 15: The feast of Nativity of our blessed mother was celebrated by the the Konkani speaking community of Fujairah on Friday the 11th September.
The new corn was blessed during the high mass at 7 p.m.
After the mass Children showered the flowers in front of the statue of infant Mary,as the gathering sang ‘sokkad sangatha …’
Then every one gathered in the church hall for the traditional ‘novem’Fr.Raj and Fr.Arul from the St. Mary’s School Fujairah were present on the occasion. Delicious vegetarian food was served on the banana leaves. President of CCF, Roy Veigas thanked every one.
