Mangalore, Sep 14:  The city unit of the Bajrang Dal celebrated its silver jubilee by holding a bike rally on Monday September 14.

Several bikes, with Bajrang Dal members on them, passed through the main roads in the city. The activists shouted slogans of their organization.

Sharan Pumpwell, convener of Bajrang Dal said, “The rally has been organized as part of the celebrations marking the silver jubilee year. The rally aims to encourage youths to join the organization and unite to protect the culture of the nation besides defending it. Several other programmes will also be organized to celebrate the silver jubilee year,” he said.

The rally started from Urva and concluded at Car Street.

I Know Hiduism is a peaceful religion or way of life. I have doubts to acknowledge the same about Bhajrang Dal. They have done more harm than good to Karnataka Coastal area.

Yes Mr. Acharya, you are absolutely right. What our leaders call secularism is reduculous. Being Hindu if you say hindu you are communal. Anybody has the reply for Mr. Acharya''s comments. Well done brother.

As hinduism is the oldest way of living, and now its be been broken into bits and pieces, there has to be some organisation to maintain certain values or safegaurd certain intrests of Hindus, i dont think Bajrang Dal is doing anything wrong. Jai Hind ( now tell me how many non Hindus use this word even though its a nationwide slogan)

What is wrong in conducting rally? It is perfectly allowed in democracy as long it doesn''t damage others. If Bajarang Dal can''t Rally in India where else they do it? Should it be in Pakistan or Afganistan? There could be few incidents here and there which needs to be condemned but it is there in every society. But by and large Hindu''s are peace loving people and don''t distrurb others. If you go to History and even now you can find how many attacks do happen/happened against Hindu community . No body raising voice against that. Priority for today is to deal terrorism sponsored by Pakistan and also few terrorist supporting anti national elements here.

Government should ban all those rallies which can harm the peace. Dakshina kannada becoming very communal due to BJP Governments helping hands towards antisocial elements like RSS and Bajrang Dal.
