Nativity Feast : Pangalites Kuwait

Kuwait, Sep 13: Nativity is a feast of mother mary, where all pangalities residing in Kuwait celebrated on the 10th September 2009 at Indian Public school Hall in Salmiya. The celebration was in a homely atmosphere attended by more than 100 pangalities.

The celebration took place at 8.45pm with a warm welcome by Mr. Albert Quadras adviser of Kuwait Pangala Association followed by a prayer song by Clara, Lavina, shanty and Helen. A warm welcome with Konsi was made for the newly wedded couple Mr   & Mrs. Sunil Mathias. Children’s showered flowers to mother Mary statue and all sang a song “Sokkad sangatha Melya”. Followed by Novem was distributed along with sweets to the gathering.


Steven Dcosta, President of Kuwait Pangalities gave a formal welcome speech to all the gathering.













Albert Quadras briefed about the pangalities and their future programs, and asked all the pangalities to become the member of the Pangalities and support in their future activities. He also laid bare his thoughts on the future plans for the programs.


In between a dance by Makita Dsouza followed by a Hindi & English song. Spot prizes and games were conducted by Steven Castalino and Steven Dcosta. The whole program was conducted by Cultural secretary  Kishore Dmello was assisted by Steven Dcosta. Music was performed by DJ Lesley.

A traditional vegetarian meal prepared by Rego caterers, and was served on Banana leaves including Vorn and Pathrade.

The programme was concluded with the distribution of prizes and vote of thanks by Kuwait Pangala Association secretary Lavina Dmello.
