Mangalore: Leila Alvares Brings ‘Breaking Up is Hard to Do’ to City

Mangalore, Sep 9: Cause Foundation will organize ‘Breaking Up is Hard to Do’ musical comedy show, inspired by the songs of rock-n-roll legend Neil Sedaka, as part of its promotion to local talents and to venture it to worthy local charities, on Saturday, September 12 from 6.30 to 8.30 pm at Town Hall here.
In a press release issued by Leila Alvares, president, Cause Foundation, said that the musical comedy show, which will feature familiar and nostalgic songs, besides vibrant dances. All the 35 cast and crew of the team will volunteer their time and talent to a worthy cause and promise a visual treat to the entire family, she explained.
Cause Foundation is a non-profit organization has successfully staged its musical hit shows including, the sound of music, Fiddler on the roof, my fair lady, Joseph and the Technicolor, Dreamcoat and Greese, in Bangalore, she said.
The performances will be live, and as many as 18 numbers of Neil Sedaka will be performed in this event, including O Caro..., Stupid Cupid and the Breaking up is hard to do, she added.
