Mangaluru: Tulu film 'Jabardasth Shankara' completes successful 25 days at theatres

Mangaluru, Dec 2: “Coastalwood movie 'Jabardasth Shankara' directed by Devdas Kapikad successfully completed 25 days in theatres,” said Actor Arjun Kapikad.

Addressing media here on Monday, December 2, Arjun Kapikad said, "The film is presented by Jalanidhi Productions and Bolli Movies and produced by Anil Kumar and Lokesh Kotian. The movie also had successful release in Dubai, Oman and Qatar.

“We have shortage of theatres and also our market not that huge. We want many Tulu cine lovers to watch our film. So we decided to premiere our movie 'Jabardasth Shankara' on V4 news channel in the month of January 2020. Our movie should reach maximum number of people. Now cine lovers can watch our film at home on V4 news channel,” he said.

“The movie is a complete mass and comedy entertainer. The dubbing rights for north Indian languages have been sold, and discussion is on for the dubbing rights in South Indian languages,” said producer Anil Kumar.

Music director Manikanth Kadri said, "This is one of the challenging films in my career. When we did the movie, suggestions were taken from all technicians. The movie came up with a team effort. I always look forward to work with Arjun Kapikad.”

“My next movie 'Rahukala Guligekala' directed by Suraj Bolar is coming up which is expected to release in January 2020,” said Arjun Kapikad.
