Kuwait, Aug 26: Caesars Group, a leader in the category of restaurants and confectionery industries around the Middle East, has now ventured a brand new project, 'Dakshin Restaurant,' in Jleeb Al–Shyoukh, Kuwait.

Caesars is led by Lawrence D'Souza, a successful entrepreneur, philanthropist, who hails from Shriva (Udupi). He is a dedicated, kind-hearted man and a popular personality in Kuwait.

Ira Malhotra, wife of Indian Ambassador to Kuwait, formally inaugurated the restaurant on Tuesday Aug 25, 2009.

Well-known dignitaries, well-wishers and staff of Caesars were present during the inauguration ceremony, along with Lawrence D’Souza, Bishop Camillo Ballin, Fr Melwyn, Fr Lionel, Fr Tony, Fr Thomas and Carmel sisters. The family members of Lawrence D'Souza were also present at the inaugural function.

'Dakshin Restaurant' serves ethnic vegetarian and non-vegetarian delicacies of Kerala, Andhra, Mangalore and Goa.

This is the 12th among the chain of restaurants opened by Caesars Group in Kuwait. The Group also has 14 confectioneries in Kuwait.

Caesars, a leading business group in Kuwait with diverse business interests such as operating a chain of restaurants and confectioneries (Kuwait, UAE and Bahrain); trading in food stuff, industrial equipments, spares, tools, hardware, safety products, printed plastic cards (Visa/ATM/MasterCard/Smart Cards), PoS Systems/IT Solutions, chemical for GRP Industry, Travelling and Tourism and manufacturing of corrugated cartons and paper products.

Caesars group employs over 1000 people.

"Congratulations" Mr. Lawrence D''Souza & Caesers Groups for their opening new Resturent ''DAKSHIN''. I visited Caesers resturent in UAE and Bahrain and I find Every thing is great in Caesars. The Resturent, the service staff, the food quality and the cleanness. There is no doubt in my mind that Caesars have the best service staff. Caesers should be proud of the level of excellence they provide. I wish Caesars Groups all the best.
