Udupi, Oct 4: “A video titled 'The Tale of Vande Mataram', from Lifelike Productions was launched recently, to support plastic ban movement of Government of India,” said Rashmi Kundapura, production designer.
Speaking at Udupi press club here on Thursday, October 3, she said, 'It is a new concept musical video done by VFX technology in which Nature guardian, nature-bhoomi and plastic are the three characters being introduced using cover song Vande Matharam which ends with message asking public to join hands with guardian of nature to destroy plasti, the monster.
“This musical video is presented in 'Lifelike Productions YouTube channel by Coqueorios Beach Cottages in association with UVA Meridian Bay Resorts. We were helped by multiple good hearted people of Kundapura who are part of promotional activity of this video.
“We at Clean Kundapura Project (CKP) are trying our best in mitigating this issue by conducting clean up drives and creating awareness programmes.
“From an aesthetic standpoint of course it is more beautiful to see a clean and pristine beaches. But plastic and trash on our favourite beaches hurts more than our eyes. It harms Mother Nature's fragile ecosystem,” she said.
“CKP is a people's movement which was initiated to raise awareness about plastic pollution and marine conservation. It all started with a small team of dedicated ocean lovers. Inspired by Arnala Bharatham Carrpaign (ABC), volunteers from all walks of life have been participating in The cleanup drives since 2015.
Sathyanarayana, Manja, Raghavendra KC, production and location, Akshatha Havanje, who is rendering her voice, Chandrakanth, Yathish Rai, Direction cinematography, Deniel and Suhith composed music to this short musical video were present.
