UAE Jul 23: Through a press release, Gulf Medical University has said that the first ever health carnival conducted at its GMC Hospital Ajman and Fujairah here, from June 21 to July 21 2009 was a success.

During the carnival, the hospital provided at its Ajman and Fujairah units, free consultation from senior medical specialists on appointed days, carnival packages, discounts on health check-up and savings on a host of other health services.

Over this period, 11,000 people availed of various health services. The Health Privilege Card of the GMC that offers to the card holder a wide array of services at reduced rates became immensely popular.
GMC Hospital and Research Centre: is an integral part of Gulf Medical University and is the first private teaching hospital in the UAE with a capacity of 250 beds. It is equipped with ultra modern facilities and is backed by a team of highly qualified doctors. It is a leading hospital in the region, well known for providing quality healthcare services at affordable prices, the press release said.
