There is no need to politicise the cancellation of visit of Shri Yediyurappaji due to inclement whether in Managlore. I agree with Mr.Nagesh Nayak and Mr. KL Shenoy that these last minute cancellation and returning back without landing has happened during congress leaders visit several times. we all know Tax payers money is waststed in numerous way by congress. Why a big breaking news on this turning back with out landing??

I endorse the comment from Nagesh Nayak, we cannot blame the CM if his flight couldn’t land due to bad weather, even if he didn’t come to Mangalore and would have said the reason for not coming to Mangalore is due to the weather problem then people would have dubbed him as “traitor”. The weather problem is not his problem like he promised he tried to visit the region but the pilot couldn’t land the plane. Even, in past lots of this kind of incident took place with Congress & other political leaders then there was no comment against them. However, the arrangement was not needed because he was coming to inspect the rain affected areas and to console the victims and the money would have spent on rehabilitation or on compensation for the victims.

I subcribe to the views of Nagesh Bangalore. I remember reading on the same website, couple of years back PM Manmohan Singh''s flight could not land at Bajpe Airport due to bad weather / heavy rain. He was on his way to Mangalore for inaugurating ONGC project (Bhoomi Pooja). That time no readers commented about tax paying and national waste issue. Today every one jump because it is BJP in State. Request all one-sided readers to be sincere in your opionion and make use of this beautiful and precious daijiworld space for constructive comments.

THERE ARE 100''S INCIDENT WERE MMS, SONIA & OTHER LEADERS WERE NOT LANDED & RETURNED BACK TO THE ORIGINAL POINT DUE TO BAD WEATHER OR ANY OTHER REASON. THOSE ARE NOT OUR TAX MONEY? COMMENT WITH POSITIVE APPROACH & NOT AGAINST BJP UNNECSSARILY. JAI HO BJP.

I am not making any comment about the visit of the CM to Mangalore and the expenditure associated with it. While I was attending college in India, then Governor of Kerala Sri. V.V.Giri (he was a very well respected and humble person) paid a visit to the college to speak in a function. The whole traffic was blocked, all the high ranking police officers from the District were present for security as if an imminent aerial attack on the governor was in progress. While in the U.S., the state governor came to visit the college where I was attending, and only one police officer was there. The governor was treated like anybody else. In India, the British system of pampering the governor and other officials was far beyond any human rationality, and the old system is still prevailing. The British officials treated the Indians like slaves and we treated them as our masters, so the protocol was patterned in that format. Now, we are independent and it is high time to change the format. Whether it is a CM or Governor, proper security measures have to be taken if there is a grave danger for their lives. Having a convoy of pilot cars and all those unnecessary wasting of tax payers money is simply a joke. For all these dramas, the common people will have to suffer in trffic jams, in addition to paying the bills.

Spotlessly white and clean from the outside! Cleanliness is next to Godliness, but this cleanliness should be from within, internal not external.

The arrangement shows I looks like a something big celebration around MANGALORE,I am really wonder why these type of show off required to visit the flood effected area. At finally it affects the common public not only in Budget, also in traffic control, delay in emergency services etc.

Why all these arrangements, C.M is our representative and leader. He should not opt for such arrangements at this hour time when we common subjects are suffering from Flood and natural calamities such as collapse houses, improper transport and communication system. He must make some arrangements to reach and console common public irrespective of his own prestige and safety. We all unitedly given the verdict to him to rule. He must show his efficiency.

I wonder for what sake Mr CM is coming to mangalore and such arrangements for arrival. Dont these politicans have other work to do. People are suffering with havey rains and floods and our CM doesnt dare to get down in Mangalore. Even if he gets down, i am sure he will visit temple do pooja and go back. What a waste of public money.Isnt it srange!!!!. The question arises in my mind DO WE REQUIRE THESE KIND OF POLITITIANS.
