Konkani movie ‘Nirmillem Nirmonem’ released in Moodbidri, Karkala

Moodbidri/Karkala, Aug 31: ‘Nirmillem Nirmonem,’ Konkani movie from ‘Nashibacho Khel’ producer Henry D’Silva Suratkal, which was released on August 23 and running successfully in theatres of Mangaluru, was released at Moodbidri Amarshree Theater and Planet theater of Karkala on Friday, August 30.

Fr Walter D’Souza, parish priest of Alangar parish was the chief guest. He emphasized on Konkani language, literature and culture. Fr William Barboza wished the movie team the best for the hard work and efforts put in.

Henry D’Silva Suratkal welcomed the gathering and mentioned the co-operation of priests and Konkani speaking people for the success of this movie.

Jerald Cutinho, owner of theatre and distributor of the movie, Melwin Elpel, director, Norbert John, co-director were present on the Dias.

John D’Souza Salethoor rendered the vote of thanks. Preetham Noronha compered the Programme.

Soon after the stage programme at Moodbidri, release ceremony of the movie was held at Planet Theatre Karkala, where Fr Joswi Fernandes, parish priest of Christ The King Church, Karkala, was the chief guest along with Fr Paul Rego, parish priest of Miyar, Fr Roshan, parish priest of Hirgan, George Castelino, Nakre, Jerald Cutinho, owner of the theatre and movie distributor, Henry D’Silva Suratkal, producer, Melwin Elpel, director, Norbert John, co-director, Santhosh Rai Mulleria, associate director, cast of the movie Kavitha D’Silva, Baby Jiya, John D’Souza Salethoor and Preetham Noronha were present in the occasion.
