Mumbai, Jun 16:
The construction of the Karnataka Bhavan on the plot located at Vashi in Navi Mumbai here, is being carried out by Mysore Sales International Limited (MSIL).

Classic Constructions Private Limited (CCPL) is executing the project as per Vastu specifications advised by Hiten Sethi and Associates. Two storeys of the Karnataka Bhavan have been completed while work on the remaining five storeys is underway and will be completed at the earliest.

Kannada Sahitya Parishat–Maharashtra president H B L Raya had been pursuing the dream of a Karnataka Bhavan since 2004, but was confronted with bureaucratic hurdles and apathy of related departments both in Karnataka and Maharashtra.

Raya also acknowledged the moral support extended to him by Jagannath K Shetty and B D Shetty in this regard.

    Dear Concerned,
Please let me know why the construction of the Karnataka Bhavan building was stopped for the last two years now, looks like the private buildings works stopping on some litigation problems? Anybody clear the same since the area looks like neglected area! Is the Karnataka Govt. Authorities know this matter?
