Bahrain: Kannada Sangha Felicitates Krishna Palemar, U T Khadar

Bahrain, Jun 10: It was a memorable day for Bahrain Kannada Sangha, Karnataka State Minister for Fisheries and Ports Affairs Krishna Palemar and MLA U. T. Khader of Ullal  Constituency, Rakesh Malli President of Intuc, Ravindranath Ravi a leading lawyer from Mangalore, Gerardin  D’Souza social worker from Mangalore arrived Kannada Sanga on 6th June 2009, Austin Santhosh President of BKS and Ramesh Manjeswar Vice President welcomed the dignitaries and led them to the dias.

Austin Santhosh in his welcome speech thanked all the dignitaries for the invitation they accepted to come to Sangha Premises and briefed the 32years history of Sangha and gave them all bouquet of flowers, and mementoes, Rakesh Malli in his speech thanked all the committee members and requested the members to help poor people who are suffering in Mangalore.






































Krishna Palemar in his speech thanked BKS for their invitation and he was very much impressed by the way Sangha is functioning, in addition to his promises, he also informed that during next event, he will try to  send a media delegation to Bahrain, particularly to highlight the harmony of various faiths, cultures and religion. He was very happy to know that there is a “ONENESS”  among the people hailed from Karnataka and Sangha is taking every one into confidence. He told Sangha members the Bahrain Kannadigas are role model for Karnataka and have to publicise in Karnataka Media particularly in Mangalore. He was also wondering how Sangha manage to cover its expenses and also impressed the annual souvenir “Kaveri”. He will follow up with chief minister of one Crore Rupees Granted to Kannada Sangha’s new Kannada Bhavana.

U. T. Khader in speech appreciated BKS for the wonderful work they carried in Bahrain and gave special note that to encourage more and more Mangaore cultural with Bahrainies so that they will visit Mangalore and other costal areas of Dakshina Kannada and Uduipi Districts.

Krishna Palemar and U.T. Khader gave away the flowers to the ladies participants of BKS for winning Kudllothsava 2009 cricket trophy and ladies team for throw ball event.

On behalf of Bunts Bahrain President Pradeep Kumar Shetty gave away the mementoes to Krishna Palemar and U. T.  Khader.
