Mangalore, Jun 3: The city of late, is earning the dubious distinction of being a battle ground of criminals. The citizens seem to have come to accept  the murders, which occur almost every week with alarming regularity, as a way of life. Bloodshed, murder and usage of lethal weapons seem to have become the order of the day. It may be recalled, that a shop keeper named Chetan Shetty had been killed in the city last week. There is a possibility that some miscreants might be trying to encash the incidents of communal tensions that have been occurring in the district now and then, even though murders have also taken place for frivolous reasons like argument over property sharing, disobeying wife etc.

A person was found murdered near the railway Goods Shed near Bunder in the city, late night on Tuesday, Jun 2.

The dead body of the man was found with visible injuries, leading the policemen to conclude it to be a case of murder. The police officials confirmed that the man was murdered by using boulders to crush his face, before dumping his body at the above spot.

The murder is suspected to have happened between 11 pm to 12 midnight on Tuesday. The body was found by a railway employee, who then conveyed the information to the police.

The body was on the platform at the railway goods shed. No other injuries on the body were found except on the face. No cash or other belongings were found on the person of the deceased, except the visiting card of a lawyer in his shirt pocket.

A screwdriver was also found lying near his body, and it is believed that it might be a tool that the murdered man used in his profession.

Superintendent of police Dr  A S Rao and additional superintendent of police R Dileep with his staff,  visited the spot and guided the operations.

Police inspector N R Mukri said that, the identification process of the body and also the investigation into the murder, have been initiated.
Canine squad was also brought to the spot to help in the investigation.

Pandeswar police have registered a case in this regard.

Every one should think about progress, development, welfare and security of the people. nowadays the people of India especially youngsters are started to think, which is already reflected in the election. Let us unite together only for the development and better life style.

Now there is no value for communal and gundagiri. Politicians and communal leader can''t make us fool now. Let us enjoy our life by co-operating the ruler who really interested in the development by maximum utilisation of our resources.Police dept. should play major role in providing peace and security by taking strict action without any partiality. BE MODERN MANGOLOREAN.... ALL THE BEST...

Certain social trends are infectious, especially crime. The BJP government gave a cold shoulder to criminals in attacking the minorities. Then Rama sena could carry on another series of attacks on innocent people. By these two events, those criminals who were waiting behind the curtain got more stamina and morale to step ahead with more violent crimes. Those who feed the cobra will be bitten by the cobra some day without any warning.

Maintain peace M''loreans. Dont react violently with any misunderstanding, bcoz this the the good way to avoid future violence and crime. If we react badly for this type of murders, it will be easy for peace breakers to go through mlore everyday.

Please Sahil dont connect these issues with BJP rule, it really hurts.Mark my words "BJP will be the Saviour of India" and all will realise within few years ahead. Its very difficult to convince people why i am saying so. About Murders taking place in Mangalore is happening since long years, but due to availability and easy access of flash news through Internet and Media now a days seems as if it initiated in recent years. May god bless India.
