Dubai: Alwyn Pinto Elected Convener of Daiji Rang Mandir

Dubai, May 28: Daiji Rang Mandir, an association of Konkani Threatre Artistes, residing in Dubai, held their election on Wednesday May 27, 2009 at Winny's Restaurant in Karama to elect their new office-bearers for 2009-2011.
 
Alwyn Pinto, an energetic and well known personality to theatre lovers, was unanimously elected as convener of Daiji Rang Mandir. While Micheal Castelino was elected as the co-convener, Paul D'Almeida was elected as the treasurer.


Alwyn                     Michael                         Paul

Stan Ageira, the newly-elected convener of Daiji Dubai was the election officer. Sunita Menezes, secretary of Daiji Rang Mandir read out the annual report. Dayan D'Souza, the outgoing convener of Daiji Rang Mandir and Hemacharya, the outgoing convener of Daiji Dubai too spoke on the occasion.
