Metro Chapter of ‘Koota Mahajagattu Saligrama’ Launched

Mumbai, May 8:
The metro’s chapter of ‘Koota Mahajagattu Saligrama’, was inaugurated in a programme held at Gokul Auditorium, Sion (East) here on Thursday May 7.
 
Saligrama Sri Narasimha temple trustee and Koota Mahajagattu Saligrama former president Dr K P Holla, inaugurated the metro’s chapter by lighting the lamp.
 


Speaking on the occasion, Dr Holla said that contemporary society should be formed to evaluate our own existence and purpose.
 
Dr K S Karant in his presidential address said that the Koota Mahajagattu is a brave community.  “Novelist Shivaram Karant was a brave and enterprising individual par excellence.  The community has effectively staged struggle against the British rulers.  The prevailing time is appropriate to display the community’s prowess”, he added.
 
Newly-elected Maharastra Medical Council member and BSKB Association president Dr Suresh S Rao and others were felicitated on the occasion.
 
Koota secretary K Narayan Mayya and P V Aithal compered the programme.  Vice-president U Narayan Aithal proposed the vote of thanks.
