Dubai, May 5: The Amchigele Samaj UAE, will be organizing ‘Talent Day’ for children and adults of the community on Friday May 22 at Karama Centre Hall, here.  This follows the mega success of a similar event held here in 2008.  

Various competitions will be held on the occasion. They are sub-junior category (children below the age of 6)—fancy dress and singing (duration: 3 minutes each; juniors (age 6 to 12) years—singing and story-telling (duration: 3 minutes each); seniors (above the age of 12)—mono acting, singing, and Antakshari (duration: 3 minutes each).

For adults above the age of 20, Karaoke competitions for men and women of 3 minutes duration, will be held. These will be judged on the basis of voice, ‘sur’ and ‘taal’, and song rendition. 

‘Chaar Ghadi Hassun Kaadi’ based on the laughter challenge shows will also be held in Konkani of 3 minutes duration each.
