IPL - Knight Riders to have Multiple Captains

Times Now

New Delhi, Mar 25:
In what could be seen as a move to corner Kolkata Knight Riders captain Sourav Ganguly, the team is all set to have four captains, team coach John Buchanan said on Wednesday in Kolkata.

Times Now had reported on Tuesday that there has been a rift between the coach and the captain and that Buchanan wanted Dada to be axed.

Buchanan had expressed himself in favour of a rotating captaincy in a match.

"There will be no fixed captain for Knight Riders instead there will be four captains for Knight Riders", John Buchanan said at a news conference.

"Ganguly and I have discussed this issue yesterday", he added.

A dejected Sourav Ganguly reacted saying, "It's a new idea and John has right to make decisions as a coach.
