Riyadh, Mar 16:
“Being Muslims and Indians, we have multiple responsibilities to be discharged for the betterment of our community as well as our country; many hidden talents are mutely latent in our community and we have to dig out such personalities in order to channel their calibers to create the better citizens and model Ummah (Community); it can be achieved only through the combined and unified effort of Jamiyyatul Falah (JF) both back in Mangalore and in the Kingdom…..” Iqbal Yousuf, a Manglaorean & Canadian by residency, founder of Jamiyyatul Falah in the Kingdom, has opined in the momentous Meeting of JF’s NRCC (Non-Residents Coordination Committee). The meeting was held at Sholay Auditorium on March 12, 2009 in Riyadh.

NRCC is the main Body that is comprised of all JF Chapters-Jeddah, Riyadh, Dammam & Jubail-working in Saudi Arabia.

“Islam obligates each Muslim-Men & women-to gain knowledge and education; to know the Deen (religion), Ilm (education) is must without which it would be great bottlenecks for Muslims to practice Islam in its real perspective; this was the pivotal spirit with us to bring Jamiyyatul Falah into existence some twenty years back both in undivided Dakshina Kannada and in Saudi Arabia, to create a educated community by providing means to achieve it….”  Iqbal Yousuf expounded by unfurling the background of JF’s history. He called upon all JF Units in the Kingdom to fully achieve the future welfare plans for the community, who are on the bread line of educational, social and economic facilities, and urged for having its own media to disseminate its views and giving voice to the voiceless.

All JF Chapters in the Kingdom actively participated in the remarkable meeting that lasted for about six hours. Riyadh JF Unit has hosted the meeting.  Khasim Ahmed, the President of Riyadh JF Unit, has presented a slide show of principles of functioning, and other aspects relating to steps to organizational and educational buildups with facts and figures that collected through field survey.

Having conferred with Karnataka State Award, JF has stepped on many milestones in the field of education and social welfare schemes, and all the JF Units agreed that they have to achieve more dimensions in the coming days through men, means and methodology. NRCC would make a future roadmap to lead the Units with the cooperation & support of Mangalore HQ in accomplishing its aims & objectives.
