Daijiworld Media Network - Dubai (GA)

Dubai, Mar 12:
Tulu ace playwright, actor, Kannada cine-star Telikeda Bolli Devdas Kapikad will be back in Dubai again for the record fourth successive time to entertain Tulu drama lovers with his comedy plays 'Eer Undera?' and 'Kebi Pittale'.

Karnur Mohan Rai, Mumbai-based drama organizer and Tulu activist along with Tulu Koota Dubai is staging the play at Al-Nasr Leiusurland Nashwan Hall on March 27, 2009.

Speaking to Daijiworld Karnire Mohan Rai said that it is an amazing experience to organize Tulu play in UAE as UAE has huge Tulu-speaking community which promotes and supports Tulu events. "With the help of Tulu Koota Dubai we are fortunate to be here for the fourth successive time. We are grateful to Tulu Koota president C R Shetty and all members and promoters," he said.

Despite the slowdown in market situation everywhere, he hoped that play will be hit and it will be in entertaining the masses.

Tickets will be available at usual outlets from next week. More details will be available on Daijiworld in the coming days.

Daijiworld and Radio Spice are official media partners for the event.

Very Good news, we too tulu drama lovers living in KSA and enjoying with CD s only. My humble request with our manglorean organisers (like MASA, KARAVALI etc)in Saudi arabia, please try to bring Devdas K & Naveen Padil to KSA. There were no law restrictions in KSA. (i think almost 6-7 years back malayalam actors harisree ashokan & saju kodian visited KSA).

Al Leiusurland Nashwan Hall is too small for tulu play.even last year also several tulu drama lovers were unhappy because of lack space in the hall.

Tulu dramas are loved by many. Al-Nasr Leiusurland Nashwan Hall will be too congested to accommodate large crowd. Every word and sentence of Kapikad play is very important for the ardent fans to laugh. The prevailing sound system and space is not at all fine. Therefore sincere request to the Organizers to find a solution - Thank you.

Al-Nasr Leiusurland Nashwan Hall is not suitable for Tulu Drama. Those who are sitting at the backside they cannot watch drama and cannot understand drama with sound problem.
