New Delhi: Kapil says No to Politics

New Delhi, Feb 20: His former colleague Mohd Azharuddin may have joined Congress but legendary bowler Kapil Dev is not in any mood to join politics now despite being approached by several parties.

"I have been approached by every party. But I am not thinking about politics at this time. Though, I always want good people to join politics," he said.

His response came to a question whether he was approached by Mayawati-led BSP for fighting the coming Lok Sabha polls. Azharuddin, the former Indian skipper, had joined Congress on Thursday.

"I can do only one thing at a time and I am happy with what I am doing right now," he said during his interaction with media after attending the two-day training session of the Territorial Army.

The former cricketer is a Lt Colonel in Territorial Army's 150 Infantry.
