Beltangady, Mar 1: A youth died after the motor bike he was riding rammed into a road roller that had been parked by the roadside. This tragic incident happened at Sulkeri near Naravi in the taluk on Friday, March 1 morning.
The ill-fated bike rider has been identified as Jayanth, a resident of Yermal House in Belalu, Kanyadi village. Reportedly, the victim was working as a conductor for a private bus company.


The mortal remains of the deceased youth were shifted to the government hospital here for postmortem. A case of accidental death was registered at the local police station.

Fri, Mar 01 2019Very sad we lost a youngster. We see in Mangalore various types of vehicles parked on the road and obstructing and confusing the other drivers and riders. In Mangalore we see so many school/college buses parked on the roads, what are the police doing?
