Kannadigas Attend ‘Nemotsav’ of Sri Brahma Baidarkala Temple

Mumbai, Jan 28:
A ‘Nemotsav’ was held at the Sri Brahma Baidarkala temple at Devulapada, Borivali (East), from Sunday January 25 to Monday January 26. It was organized by the Sri Jagadishwari Seva Samiti.

Kannadigas from all over the metro attended this worship unique to coastal Karnataka.
 

 

All India Billava Federation president Jaya C Suvarna, MLA Gopal C Shetty, BJP leader L V Amin, Congress leader Ashok Santrali, social worker Kamlesh Shetty, Praveen Dharekar, entrepreneur N Nityanand, Nerul Ramesh Shetty, Billava Association honourary chief secretary Nityanand D Kotian, corporators Vinay Patil and Aparna Navrekar, were the guests of the occasion. 
 
Various religious rituals were performed by Byculla T Krishnamurti Bhat under the leadership of Seva Samiti president Shekar Indu Salian, vice-president Laxman V Belvai, honourary chief secretary Dayanand Poojary Varanga, and honourary treasurer Bhoja A Mendon.  
 
Seva Samiti office-bearers Narsappa K Marnad, Vasu K Poojary, Jayaram S Poojary, Anand G Shetty, Dinakar G Pawar, Sadashiv D Salian, Ganesh R Suvarna, Srinivas S Poojary, Mallur Ramesh D Kotian, Mahabala Udyavar, Raghu K Kotian, Shekar Kanchan, M N Hegde, and Vishwanath Bangera, were also present on the occasion.
