Mumbai, Dec 25:
St Ignatius Loyola Church, Ambadi Road, Vasai west has 2000 Christian families. 98% of them are Konkani-speaking families of Mangalorean or Goan origin. Jesuit priests serve this parish.



Christmas services started yesterday night at 10.30 pm by Carol singing under the leadership of Vernon at St Anne’s School Grounds. The solemn mass followed, which was conducted by the parish priest Fr Ozy Gonsalves, assistants Fr Vincent, Fr Joe Prabhu and Fr Tony. Six thousand people gathered for the celebrations.
