Oman: Indian Cabinet Approves MoU with Oman in Manpower Field

Muscat, Dec 21:
India government has approved the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Oman in the field of manpower.

“The cabinet approved signing of an MoU in the field of manpower between the governments of India and Sultanate of Oman,” Indian Home Minister Chidambaram said in New Delhi yesterday.

The agreement was signed during Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh’s Muscat visit last month.

The cabinet also approved a memorandum of understanding with Indonesia, which was signed during President Pratibha Patil’s visit to Jakarta last month, Chidambaram said.

“The cabinet approved the signing of an MoU between India and Indonesia for cooperation in the field of agriculture and allied sectors,” he added.
