Sri Jarandaya Temple Renovation Committee Meets in Metro

The meeting of the Mulky Nadikudru Sri Jarandaya temple renovation committee was held recently at Goregaon (West). The meeting was presided over by renovation committee president Harischandra V Kotian.
 
Bharat Co-Operative Bank (Mumbai) Limited deputy chairman Vasudev R Kotian, addressing the gathering said that Narayan Guru’s teachings on strength in unity needs committed people to put it into practice. Life will be worthwhile if selfless service is rendered to the society, he said.

A literacy drive should be undertaken to educate the masses and the Nadikudru Sri Jarandaya temple renovation committee has been doing service in this regard.  Society will prosper when education is given importance, he added. 


 
Harischandra Kotian, in his presidential address, urged the community brethren to extend their support to realize the temple renovation project that would cost about Rs 50 lac.
 
Nadikudru Sri Jarandaya Seva Samiti Mumbai president Jagannath V Kotian, central committee vice-president Umesh S Amin, temple renovation committee Mumbai president P K Kotian, temple priest Niranjan Poojary, N Krishnappa Kotian, Naresh Kotian, and secretary Chandrashekar S Poojary, were present on the dais.
 
Vaman Kotian delivered the introductory address while Umesh Kotian provided information on the renovation work to be undertaken at the temple. Chandrashekar Poojary compered the programme and Harish Anchan proposed the vote of thanks.
