Dubai, Dec 15: ‘Daiji Dubai’, the forum of Konkani writers in the UAE, will be hosting a Konkani poetry recital session on Friday December 19, as part of its decennial celebrations. The event will be held at Zomorrodah – Party Hall, Near GPO, Karama from 4.30 pm to 7 pm.
Poet Melvyn Rodrigues will moderate the session and Jacintha Mendonca will be the guest of honour.
Tony Niddodi, Paulab (M P Rodrigues), Francis Fernandes Cascia, Hemacharya, Sannu Monis, Vincy Pinto Angelore, Arthur Pereira Omzoor, Melvyn Rodrigues, Dinesh Pernal, P J Karugalnade, Ashok Dias, Stany Bela, J J Dias, and Robert Udyavar will participate in the session.
Dayan Mukamar and Pradeep Paladka will entertain the audience with their lively jokes, stated Stephen Mascarenhas, convener of the forum.
