Mangaluru: 'Dagalbajilu' fame Neema Ray bags third Kannada film

Mangaluru, Nov 21: Neema Ray who created sensation with her acting skills in recent Tulu blockbuster 'Dagalbajilu' has bagged her third Kannada film.

Neema Ray hails from Thokkottu and is a student of Jerosa school and St Anne's PU college, Mangaluru. Before taking up acting, she completed air-hostess training at Aptech.

Speaking to Daijiworld, she said, "I was interested in movies and dramas when I was young. I have performed in many dramas and was part of a city drama troupe under Manju Rai Muloor."

 

Following success in drama, she got an opportunity to act in a Kannada film titled 'Mahakaali' in 2015 which was directed by S Mahendra. Thereafter she played a main role in another Kannada film 'Arrambha' directed by Abhi in 2015.

She acted in her first Tulu film 'Dombarata' directed by Ranjith Suvarna and it was her second Tulu film 'Dagalbajilu' directed by Prashanth which made her popular for her bold acting.
