Dammam, Nov 19: Darul Irshad Education Centre Dammam committee hosted a family gathering at Al – Sabia istirah in Dammam 91 on Thursday November 13. Beary community people from Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts had gathered in large number and made the event a successful one.
The programme started with DUA from TK Mohammad Madani. Ismail Katipalla recited Qur’an. Hamza Haji Mithur inaugurated the function. In his inaugural speech Hamza Haji Mithur lauded the role played by Darul Irshad Education Centre Mani, Dakshina Kannada, in Islamic and secular education and asked the public to be a part of this social service by extending moral and financial support.
Darul Irshad Centre is a noble religious and secular institution situated at Dakshina Kannada district engaged in rendering complimentary services to the society, especially orphans and destitute hailing from poorer family and socially - educationally backward sections and strives together for their uplift. The academy is steered by an authority of high esteemed clerics under the leadership of Abudul Hameed Musliyar Mani.
Within a span of 15 years the academy has established several institutions where the society is served proudly. Presently the institutions run by Darul Irshad Education Centre comprises of Kanzul Uloom Dars, Da’wa College, Destitute Home, Boarding Madrasa, English Medium School, Tailoring Centre, Mosques and Madrasas and Islamic Library having books worth Rs. 50 lac or more. Darul Irshad Education Centre has vision to set up a Women’s College, Vocational Training Centre and Hifzul Quran College.
Hamza Haji Mithur, President Darul Irshad Education Centre Dammam Committee was felicitated on this occasion to recognize his lifetime selfless dedication in community service. T K Mohammad Madani was also felicitated for his dedicated service as receiver of Darual Irshad Education Centre in the Dammam – Jubail region.
Several positive entertainment activities such as quiz, tongue-twisters, pick-and-do and games were conducted to engage the people in happy mood and liven up the spirits. Children participated enthusiastically in Qira’ath competition and later in games and sports. Sumptuous food was served. Kamarudeen and Ibrahim Koppa compered the programmes of the entire day.
