Bahrain: Countdown Begins for Kannada Vaibhava - 2008

Bahrain, Nov 14: Leading personalities from the politics, film, television industry, and education field have now started coming to Bahrain for the much-anticipated Kannada Vaibhava. Among them leading  media personalities  U Satish Pai  and his wife  .Sandya  Pai arrived  on Thursday November 13 night followed by Gopal  Bhandary  popular  MLA of Karkala  constituency who was greeted  by his childhood friend  Jayaram Shetty .

Leading  TV actor  Ravi Shanker,   presently famous for his  debut  performance  in the Kannada film  Payana (Journey)  and  his singer wife Sangeetha  were welcomed  by Kamalaksha Amin  of Gulf Kannadiga  and Ronald  D’Souza  of Daijiworld .com

A total of 20 members  group  of  Baikampady   Yuva Mela  also  arrived from  Manglaore  to perform traditional  Janapada  dance  on the occasion

Karnataka chief minister B SYeddyurappa along with  medical education minister Ramchandra   Gowda , panchayath  raj and rural  devoplopment  minister Shoba  Karandlaje  will arrive  during the day on Friday November 14 to Kannada Sangha  premises  to meet  the members  and their families.

All the delegates will arrive at Bahrain Keraleeya Samajam‘s Daimond Jubilee Hall in Segaya for Kannada Vaibhava-2008 at 4 pm.  Indian Ambassador Balakrishna Shetty will be the chief guest.

    Hi, Can I have a picture of the dance troupe from Baikampady ie., the Karavali Yuvaka Yuvathi Sangha, who performed at the Kannada Vaibhava- 08, Bahrain. If I could get some pictures of their performance, it would be great. You could rather put them up here on the Daijiworld webpage. There are a lot of people who would want to see the dance pics along with the pics of these dignitaries. This is just a suggestion. Hoping you will consider my request and accept my suggestion...
