Kundapur, Oct 10: Writer Chandrashekhar Chadaga (80), a resident of Koteshwar near here, breathed his last at Manipal hospital on Wednesday October 8. He was the brother of the late Sooryanarayana Chadaga, a highly respected Kannada author.

Chandrashekhar Chadaga was a gifted writer of limericks. His published works include 'Chutukombade', 'Rangani', 'Gutuku', 'Subbajjana Bogale Alla Ragale' and 'Chilipili'. Dakshina Kannada Kannadigara Sangha Bangalore had honoured him by conferring the 'Parashurama' title to him.

Chadaga was a member of Kannada Sahitya Parishat and was active in serving Koteshwar Sri Kotilingeshwara temple and Rotary Club.

    My name ia also P.Chandra shekhar Chadaga.Both of us belong to same chadaga family.I am also a writer and founder Secretary of Shivarama Karantha Vedike2 Bangalore.I am 65 years young and I am a retired Addl.Commissioner of Income-tax.Out of the family funds and my NRI sons help Shivarama Karantha Rang Sthala was built 4 years ago.
