Mangaluru: Kannada film ‘Nilukada Nakshatra’ – shooting completed

Mangaluru, Mar 6: In the recent days, a few producers from the coastal region have ventured into film making which has resulted in a few movies in Sandalwood.

‘Nilukada Nakshatra’, a Kannada movie is one of the latest films to join the bandwagon. The shooting of the film was wrapped recently and the makers will release the film very soon. The movie is produced under the banner ‘Rudira Films’ by Anand Bengaluru, Vincent D’Souza and Sushan Rai, Mavinakatte. Dhanaraj Shetty and Prasanna S Balmatta are the co producers. Ganidev Karkala and Deepak Shetty have handled the story, screen play and direction. The movie was shot at various locations in the coastal region and cameraman Surendra Paniyur put his best effort forward to capture the beauty of nature in his lens.

Pavan Arya, Sushmita Rai, Abhilash Kulal, Prajan Rai, Abhinetri Jain, Swathi Shetty, Yathish and Sharan are seen in prominent roles while Kavita Kannika Poojari and Kishan Rai Madikeri have worked as associate directors.

The makers have used green screen VFX technology which is a new thing in Sandalwood. ‘Nilukada Nakshatra’ is a suspense thriller and its posters which released online are receiving an outstanding response.
