I'm Underpaid says, Priyanka Chopra

DNA

Mumbai, Aug 11: After Kareena Kapoor, it’s Priyanka Chopra who has raised the issue of a disparity of pay in Bollywood between the heroes and heroines.

“I’m overworked and underpaid,” Priyanka says without mincing words. Prod her a little more on the issue and she goes on to reiterate the same point. “Trust me, it is true. I don’t get paid enough!” she adds with a smirk.

The petite actor also says that with six films being released simultaneously this year, she has lost track of her schedule.

“I’m running around from place to place to shoot and I don’t have a clue about my schedules. It’s hectic but fun,” she reveals.

Priyanka was in news recently because of her alleged split with boyfriend Harman Baweja after the debacle of their film, Love Story 2050. Ask her about that and she takes a completely different stand. She now says that she was never Harman’s girlfriend!

“I don’t think I need to comment about a relationship that never existed. I have never spoken about my personal life and I don’t think I need to justify about it to anybody,” she says.

Isn’t this, in a way, admitting that the relationship has gone kaput? Well, no prodding could force another word out of the actor on this.

Don’t mind the split, Priyanka’s career is going great guns and the actor says that she has started getting offers from Hollywood. “I have been approached by some Hollywood filmmakers but I haven’t got something that has really excited me,” she signs off.
