Mangalore, Aug 1: Chief minister Yadyurappa will be visiting the undivided districts of Dakshina Kannada on Sunday August 3. But the chief minister is visiting here not for any official purpose. He will be visiting the religious places in the district till August 4.

Yadyurappa will reach Beltangady helipad on Saturday August 2 at 4.30 pm and later he will visit Dharmasthala temple. He will be visiting Kollur Mookambika temple, Sri Krishna temple and Subrahmanya temple next day. He will proceed to Bangalore from Subrahmanya at 9.05 pm.

But the citizens here are unhappy about the chief minister's visit to the temples. There are many burning problems that need urgent solutions in both the districts. Both the districts have been reeling under chikungunya. But the chief minister has no plans to discuss these prominent issues or hold any meeting in the districts. Instead, CM is interested only in visiting the temples and appeasing the gods, locals have been commenting.

The CM accompanied by his new companion and first time MLA/cabinet minister, will be flying in by Helicopter, visiting the temples and appeasing the gods. Will he ever see the state of the national highway from Mangalore to Bangaloe via the Shirady Ghats?
