Udupi, Aug 1: The Akhil Bharatiya Vidhyarthi Parishad (ABVP) staged a protest on Thursday, July 31, in front of Mahatma Gandhi Memorial (MGM) College, urging authorities to allow students who have failed the first semester of Mangalore University examinations, to appear for the fifth semester exams.

Why they do not like semister system? With semister system they need to put little more efforts on studies. It will make them more competitive. Better future. With semester system the standerd will be closer to engineering and medical studies. And thousands do not want to improve and about ABVP better not to comment!!

Come on Mangalore University do not give up. You make rules for the benefit of students. Stand by it! Force our students to be better equipped to face life in todays demanding excellence. Those who are protesting are lazy and they are against better future of their own and others.Long live Mangalore University.
