Sharjah: 'Ashem Zalem Kashem' screened to packed hall, earns praise

Sharjah, Oct 3: The first ever Konkani-Tulu bilingual movie 'Ashem Zalem Kashem'/Incha Aand Ancha, a complete family entertainer, was screened at the Novo Cinemas Mega Mall, Sharjah, to a packed hall on September 29.

The movie is the maiden venture of Glorious Angelore Productions and is directed by well-known musician, singer, composer Maxim Pereira, who has also written the story for the movie. The screenplay and dialogues have been written by John M Permannur and Tulu comedy by William Padrengi.

The movie is well scripted and picturised with melodious songs, comedy, suspense, drama and romance.

The film kept the audience glued to their seats till the end. The audience cherished and appreciated the movie and the efforts put in by the makers. The theatre was packed to its capacity and many people had to return home as the tickets were all sold out.

Fr Maxim Pinto, assistant priest of St Michaels Church of Sharjah, congratulated and wished the team success in all their projects. Joachim Menezes and Roque Rego were also present on the dias. Artistes Jennifer D’Souza and Joseph Mathias along with director-producer Maxim Pereira Angelore were present during the screening who thanked the audience for their unconditional love, support and encouragement. They were also open for suggestions and feedback to improvise and implement in their future projects.
