Mangaluru: Tulu film ‘Umil’ shooting in progress

Mangaluru, Sep 22: One of the much-awaited Tulu films, ‘Umil’ is being currently shot at various places in the city. Despite rain, the shooting is in full swing.

Director Ranjith Suvarna will introduce graphics on large scale through ‘Umil’ to Coastalwood. Famous Yakshagana artists Seetharam Kumar will make his debut in Coastalwood with this film.

The film will have four songs written by Keerthan Bhandary and Prashanth C K. A K Risel Sahi and Ravi Basrur music will compose the music. It is also said that actor Aravind Bolar will lend his voice for a song.

Karunkar Shetty and Prajnesh Shetty have produced the film.

“The story of the film is different. I have written it myself. It will be a laughter riot,” says Ranjith.
