Mangaluru: Tulu film ‘Are Marler’ collects Rs 50 lac in first week run

Mangaluru, Aug 20: Tulu film ‘Are Marler’, which hit the screens last week has set the cash registers ringing at the box office. The film has collected Rs 50 lac in its first week run.

The viewers are thoroughly entertained with comedy. Bhojraj Vamanjoor and Aravind Bolar’s sequences in the film are loaded with laughter from beginning to end. Their dialogues are noteworthy. Devdas Kapikad too has given an amazing performance. Sathish Bandale, Sunil Nelligudde, Prasanna Shetty Byluru, and Sandeep Shetty have given good company to the main characters.

The film which ran to packed houses in its first week is continuing with the same trend in its second week.

The comedy family entertainer directed by Devadas Kapikad has Arjun Kapikad in the lead role and new face Nishmitha as the heroine. Story-screenplay-dialogue, and music for the movie are by 'Telikeda Bolli' Devdas Kapikad and cinematography by Uday Balla. Film editing is done by state award winner Sujit Nayak and background music provided for the movie by Kadri Manikant.
