Mangaluru: Tulu film ‘Thottil’ to release in September?

Mangaluru, Aug 9: Upcoming Tulu film ‘Thottil’ produced by Pradeep Agraar and directed by Prajwal Kumar Attavar is awaiting its censor certificate. The makers of the film are planning to release in September. The film is a family entertainer with mother sentiments.

Shashiraj Kavoor, Kirthan Bhandary, and Deepak Kotian have written the lyrics for the five songs in the film. Dolvin Kolalgiri has composed the music for 'Thottil'. Kishan Nayak has handled cinematography, Avinash Poojary and Suhaas-Santhosh had choreographed the songs in the film. Story and dialogues has been written by by Prajwal Kumar Attavar.

Richard D’Cunha is the co-produer of ‘Thottil’. Santhosh Shenoy is the assistant director. Vijeth Suvarna will be seen as the lead actor in Coastalwood for the very first time. Surekha Bhat will play the lead actress’ role. Aravind Bolar, Umesh Mijar, Laskhmi Swaraj, Shabarish Kabbinale, Harish Shetty, Santhosh Shenoy, Akshatha Amin, Sandesh Kotian and others will be seen in pivotal roles. ‘Thottil’ has been shot across Karkala, Mangaluru, Hassan, and Udupi.

'Thottil' audio was released a few months ago to an amazing response. The mixing and the mastering of the audio was done at Daijiworld Audio Visual Studio.
