Mangaluru: Cast and crew of Konkani film ‘Saunsar’ move to Goa

Mangaluru, Aug 8: After shooting 40-50 per cent of Kokani film ‘Saunsar’ in Mangaluru, the cast and crew will now move to Goa. The film will be shot in Chikkamagaluru as well.

The makers plan to wrap up the shooting to release the film in the second week of October later this year. The film will be released at theatres and multiplexes of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts. They also plan to release ‘Saunsar’ in Chennai, Mumbai, Ernakulum and Calicut. As there are members of GSB community living in US and UK, the makers are planning to release the film over there too.

Director Lakshmish G Nayak has written the story of ‘Saunsar’. Ramachandra Nayak and Karthik Kumar Acharya have taken care of cinematography and Krithik Kumar Acharya has handled choreography. Tharesh Mani is the assistant director.

Harish Nayak, Dinesh Prabhu, Ranjitha Shet, Sheethal Nayak, Rathul G Kamath and others form the cast.
