Mangaluru: Auditions for Tulu film ‘Ammer Polisa?’ held

Mangaluru, Aug 1: The auditions for star director Sooraj Shetty's upcoming Tulu film ‘Ammer Polisa?’ were held at Ramakrishna College recently. The makers of the film want new faces to be cast in the film.

Enthusiastic artistes came from Kasargod, Bengaluru, Theerthahalli, Puttur and Sullia for the auiditions which began at 8 am.

One more round of auditions will be held after which a decision on shooting will be taken, informed Suraj Shetty.

‘Ammer Polisa?’ will have a fresh lead pair, villain and comedian. The film will provide a platform for new talents to emerge. According to Sooraj Shetty, the motive of ‘Ammer Polisa?’ is to unearth new talents. “As there are many youngsters in the film, we are very enthusiastic,” says Suraj Shetty.

The title of the film has been registered. Shooting will begin in the last week of August.

The director is working on releasing different posters for the film, which he believes is the trump card to attract the audience to the theatres. The work on story, screenplay and dialogues is in its final stages.
