Mangaluru: Director Raghu Shetty earns praise for 'Arjun Weds Amrutha'

Mangaluru, Jul 30: Tulu romantical film 'Arjun Weds Amrutha' directed by Raghu Shetty has received a lot of praise from Coastalwood fans. The film is getting good response in theatres.

Director Raghu has been praised for his outstanding work in the film. Romance and comedy has been perfectly blended together to entertain Tulu film fans. ‘Arjun Weds Amrutha' has proved that not only comedy, but even other genres are received well by the Coastalwood audience.

The camerawork, editing and location of the songs in the film have been much appreciated by viewers. Raghu, who is basically from coastal Karnataka, is a journalist. Serving in Bengaluru in media, he has worked with well-known directors like Om Prakash Rao, S Mahendar and P N Sathya.

“Even though I had opportunities to make Kannada films, I felt that I had to make a film in my mother tongue Tulu. I wanted to present various artistes in the film which I successfully did. The film is earning good at the box office. I am getting good and positive feedback from the audience,” said Raghu Shetty.
