Mangaluru: Audio of Tulu comedy film 'Are Marler' hits stands

Mangaluru, Jul 12: The audio of upcoming Tulu film 'Are Marler' starring some big names of Coastalwood, was released in a befitting ceremony at COOB Hall here on Wednesday July 12.

The audio was released by chief guests Dr Mohan Alva, chairman of Alva's Educational Trust and Ganesh Rao, founder chairman of Karavali Group of Colleges, in the presence of Walter Nandalike, founder of Daijiworld, Shashidhar Hegde, former mayor, Mukhesh Hegde, Dinesh Shetty, Sharmila D Kapikad, Prakash Pandeshwar, the producers, Navin D Padil, actor and Vijaykumar Kodialbail, the film director.

Addressing the gathering, Mohan Alva said, "Tulu language has a long and great history. Being a regional language it has a certain uniqueness. People of all communities speak this language and respect the Tulu culture. Of late, people have been coming forward to make movies in Tulu. Most of them are taking the decision to make movies without expecting any profit. It shows their love for the language. Tulu region will always be grateful to Devadas Kapikad and his team. Their contribution to Tulu language is unbeatable. Now they are on the brink of releasing their new movie 'Are Marler'. The hero of the movie Arjun has already earne good popularity in Coastalwood. Devadas Kapikad, Navin D Padil, Aravind Bolar, Bhojaraj Vamanjoor are assets of our language. I wish all success to the new movie and the entire team."

Ganesh Rao said, "Unity is a great uniqueness of our Tulunadu. We can see a mixture of people from every community and religion in all sectors. Our movies are reflections of this uniqueness. Devadas Kapikad's dramas and movies have always portrayed harmony and essence of local life. Everyone likes his dramas and movies because of his wonderful talent for comedy. No doubt, 'Are Marler' will be a huge success."

Walter Nandalike said, "Devadas Kapikad and team have always given their best. They are purely committed to work. As an experienced team, they know to produce their films and dramas based on audience taste. I wish them all success for their new movie."

'Are Marler' has 'Tulunad Chakravarthi' Action King Arjun Kapikad as the hero, starring opposite Nishmitha Karkera. Devadas Kapikad, Aravind Bolar, Bhojaraj Vamanjoor and others will also be seen in the comedy film. The movie is scheduled to release on August 11 this year.
