Mangalore: Poojary Demands Probe in to Bellary Cash Inflow

Mangalore, Apr 23: Outspoken politician of Congress party Janardhan Poojary has made a strong appeal to the election commission to look into the matter of alleged inflow of crores of rupees from Andhra Pradesh to the border districts of the state.

Speaking to media persons Poojary alleged that illicit transaction of crores of rupees has been recovered in Bellary which was allegedly for wooing voters. He urged the election commission and the police department to take stern action against the people involved.

He alleged that BJP has undermined the ethical value by giving tickets to those supported by mine lobby and people having criminal background. Targeting former chief minister Yeddyurappa he said getting sympathy votes of the electorates based on betrayal factor does not work as the people are well aware of power hungry intention of the Yeddyurappa by breaking the alliance of the Congress and JD(S) government.

Criticizing the JD(S) he said Deve Gowda is a self-centered person who anticipates uncertainty would prevail in the formulated government in the state after the verdict and a politician who opposes pro-development works for self gain. He is of the opinion that JD(S) will not even manage to get 10 seats in the impending elections.
