Mangaluru, Jun 6: Tulu film 'Pattanaje' produced under the banner 'Namma Kala Jagathu' has received U certificate from the censor board. The appreciation by the board has inspired the film team.

None of the scenes were deleted by the censor board. 'Pattanaje' has broken a record with ten songs in the film. The team behind the film says that the songs are appealing. The film has been shot at Pavanje Subrahmanya temple, Mulki, Udupi, Mangaluru Padavu Meginamane, Shakthinagar, Kuthar, Sasihitlu, Sultan Battery, Kodavooru, Moodbidri etc and was completed in one schedule. The film reflects on Tulu culture, tradition and dignity coupled with comedy.

V Manohar has composed the music, Vijaya Kumar Kodialbail has written the dialogues and Suresh Babu has handled cinematography. Shivadhwaj, Mumbai's Reshma Shetty, Chetan Rai Mani, Surya Rao, Surendra Heggade, Seetha Kote and others have acted in important roles. Story, script and direction is by Thonse Vijayakumar Shetty. It has aroused high expectations in coastalwood.
