Hot day ahead in Delhi


New Delhi, May 25 (IANS): The national capital gears up for another hot day on Thursday with the maximum temperature likely to hover around 41 degrees Celsius, the weather office said.

The sky was partly cloudy in the morning and the minimum temperature was recorded at 28.5 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average, an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.

The humidity at 8.30 am was 44 per cent, the official said.

The minimum temperature on Wednesday was 26.6 degrees Celsius, average for the season.
