Well-known Social Worker Fredrick Almeida Passes Away

Mumbai, Apr 3:  Well-known social worker Fredrick M Almeida (86), passed away in his residence at Chakala, Andheri here, following prolonged illness, on Thursday April 3.

He retired after serving in the National Bank and Standard Chartered Bank and later he was running a store called ‘Almeida Mangalorean Stores’. He was known for helping the youth to get emplyoment irrespective of caste and creed.

Fredrick was originally from Kallianpur in Udupi district.

He is survived by wife and three children.
