Procession Depicting Way of the Cross Marks Good Friday

Mumbai, Mar 21: The Good Friday procession depicting the Way of the Cross at Infant Jesus Church, Jogeshwari (E) began from the church premises at 7 am and then proceeded to the different areas of the entire parish led by parish priest Fr Richard Crasto, Fr Anthony  Fernandes, Br Robin, Br Alfred and sisters of the Helpers of Mary.

The Stations of the Cross were held in Marathi and as well as in Hindi. Thousands of people from the parish and the neighboring parishes joined the procession.




People of other faiths also took part in this devotion and even walked bare feet. Rosary and hymns were sung  all along the way.
