Sonia Gandhi Lays Foundation Stone for 'Nyas Bhavan'

Sangli, Mar 18: Congress president Sonia Gandhi laid the foundation stone for the Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Social Nyas Bhavan here on March 17.

The ''Bhavan'' is to be constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 4.62 crore.

Union Home Minister Shivraj Patil, Maharashtra Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh, District Guardian Minister Patangrao Kadam, Maharashtra Social Welfare Minister Chandrakant Handore and others were present on the occasion.
