Mumbai, Mar 11: Dr M Balamuralikrishna, maestro of Carnatic classical music, on Sunday March 11, mesmerized the audience with his rendition of divine classical compositions at Darbar Hall, Raj Bhavan, Mumbai.
The concert was organized by outgoing Governor S M Krishna, as part of 3-day musical extravaganza. Sangeet Kalanidhi Padma Vibhushan Dr Balamuralikrishna, regarded as the living legend of Carnatic music, regaled the audience by presenting two compositions of Purandaradas and two more compositions in Telugu and Hindi.
Earlier, Dr Balamuralikrishna was felicitated by acting Governor S C Jamir, in the presence of outgoing Governor S M Krishna and his wife Prema Krishna.
