Udupi: National TT Gold Medalist Misbah Ahmed Felicitated

Udupi, Feb 26: National Table Tennis gold medalist Misbah Ahmed was felicitated by Madina Jamiya Masjid Trust of Malpe recently.

Speaking on this occasion, Masjid Imam Mahammad Jameel Akhtar said that, Misbah Amhed had made everyone proud with his tremendous achievement.  "It is very tough to win a gold medal at national level tourney.  But Misbah has proved that even the rural talent has potentials to compete and beat the best in the business," he added.  He further said that Misbah is a role model for young, up and coming sports stars of the coastal region.

Committee president Usman Saheb, secretary Mushtaq Ahmed, entrepreneurs Moiddin Saheb, Ibrahim, Usman Saheb and others were present on this occasion. Misbah Ahmed is the former student of St Mary's English Medium School here.  He has won many medals in table tennis at the state and district level competitions.

    Misbah has made his family proud by getting his name recognised in india. such an achievement at this young age is remarkable. the dedication with which he plays is fabulous.
